Fuel prices will go down in Kazakhstan on July 1, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press-service of Kazakhstan Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies (Anti-Monopoly Agency of Kazakhstan). "In relation to the changes in Brent oil prices, chairman of Kazakhstan Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies has issued a decree on June 25 to decrease the ceiling prices for retail sales of oil products subject to state regulation of prices, effective on July 1, as follows, VAT inclusive: - Diesel fuel – 90 tenge ($0.61) per liter; - AI-80 – 86 tenge ($0.59) per liter; - AI-92/93 – 106 tenge ($0.72) per liter. This decree has been coordinated with Kazakhstan Oil and Gas Ministry and Ministry of Economic Development and Trade. The full text of the decree has been published on the Agency's website, www.arem.kz, in Legislation section," the message states.
